Advice from people who have run it
Markets, mining practice, minerals knowledge and the trade chain. We have worked deposits, specified machines and shipped cargo, so what we tell you comes out of sites we have run and cargoes we have moved.
What we get asked
The questions owners bring us
What is this material actually worth, and who buys it. Should it leave as block or as slab. Which machine suits this rock. What grade does a contract in China or Italy expect, and what happens if a cargo misses it. How does the material get to a port, and through it.
We have stood on both sides of these questions, as the operation selling the material and as the trader placing it. That is the position we answer them from.
Services
Six things we advise on
You can take one of these or all of them. Most people start with a conversation about the market and work backwards from there.
Market intelligence
What the material is worth, and who is actually buying it.
Which markets take your material, what they pay, and what moves the price. We have sold into Europe, China, the Middle East and Africa, so the figures come from our own invoices.
Mining and extraction practice
How the material should come out of the ground.
Method, sequence and the cost of getting it wrong. Blasting a dimension stone deposit is the clearest example, but the same question sits behind every site. We have run these operations, so we can tell you what a change will actually cost you.
Minerals knowledge and specification
What your material is, in the terms a buyer uses.
Grades, testing, tolerances and the language a contract is written in. Most disputes we have seen came from a specification that was never agreed properly at the start.
Equipment advice
Which machine and which consumable suit your rock.
A wire that cuts Buner granite will not perform the same way on Dir black granite. We advise on the specification first. If you want us to supply it as well, we do that too.
Supply chain and trade
From the deposit through to the buyer, as one chain.
Documentation, certification, inland haulage, port handling, shipping and placing the material with a buyer who will take it again. We have moved product out of Pakistan and across borders into it, which is a harder problem than it sounds.
Sourcing and counterparties
Who in the region can actually deliver what you need.
For buyers outside the region, the hard part is not finding a seller. It is knowing which one holds the lease, owns the stock and can load to the volume they quoted. We are on the ground in Pakistan and we check before you commit.
Where it comes from
Three projects behind the advice
These are operations we ran or supported. The numbers are why we can tell you what a change is likely to be worth.
Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Diamond Blue Granite, Buner
A quarry blasting away its own margin. We stopped the blasting and took block recovery from under 20 percent to above 65.
Read the project- 20% to 65%
- Saleable block recovery, first year
- 3x
- Value off the same tonnes moved
- 25%
- Cut in freight cost per saleable cubic metre
- 8 months
- Assessment visit to first export container
Mohmand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
White Marble, Mohmand
The stone was never the problem. Water was. We designed the operation around dry cutting and took water off the table.
Read the project- Zero
- Water required at the cut
- Removed
- The daily production ceiling set by water trucking
- High bench
- Working method, chain saw and wire saw combined
- Export
- Grade whiteness confirmed before a machine was bought
Balochistan, Pakistan
Chromite Mine, Balochistan
Chromite is straightforward to extract and hard to deliver to specification. We held the same grade, shipment after shipment, for years.
Read the project- Multi year
- Continuous delivery to export specification
- Zero
- Shipments rejected on contract specification
- Every load
- Shipped with sampling numbers behind it
- Buffered
- Consumable resupply, so drilling never waited on bits

Tell us what you are working with
The more you can tell us about the deposit, the material and the volume, the more useful our first reply will be.
